Core i3, Core i5 , Core i7 socket

Kini kita dimomokkan dengan berita-berita dan iklan sana sini berkenaan processor baru oleh intel. Adakah kita tahu bahawa processor tersebut adalah tidak sama soketnya dengan Core2 Duo ataupun QuardCore. Socket ini menggunakan LGA775. Oleh yang demikian kita tidak boleh upgrada komputer tanpa menukar papan utama (motherboard).

Core i3, Core i5 dan Core i7 menggunakan socket yang lain. Dibawah ini saya sertakan serba ringkas processor, code nama dan soket. Jadual ini hanya rujukan sahaja dimana untuk penjelasan lebih lanjut boleh rujuk di laman sesawang Intel.
